2. Data We Collect
EuroBit is a non‑custodial wallet. We deliberately keep data collection to the minimum necessary to operate the App.
The App processes the following categories of data:
- Public blockchain addresses derived from your seed phrase and shown in the App.
- Device information (operating system version, device model, app version, language).
- Diagnostic data such as crash logs and basic error reports, used to improve stability.
- IP address when communicating with our backend or third‑party RPC providers.
- Authentication identifiers generated by Firebase Authentication so the App can talk to our backend (we do not collect a password from you for the wallet itself).
3. Private Keys and Seed Phrase
- Your private keys and 12‑word recovery phrase ("seed phrase") are generated on your device.
- They are stored only in the secure storage of your device (iOS Keychain) and are protected by your PIN and, where available, biometrics.
- EuroBit never receives, transmits, or backs up your seed phrase.
- Because EuroBit cannot access your seed phrase, we cannot recover lost wallets or move funds on your behalf. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase.
4. Third‑Party Service Providers
To operate the App we rely on the following third parties. Each of them processes only the data strictly required for their function:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Functions, Firestore, App Check) — backend infrastructure, anonymous authentication, request authorisation. Privacy.
- Alchemy — RPC provider for Ethereum, Base, BSC, Polygon and Solana network calls (read balances, broadcast transactions). Privacy.
- Mayan Finance — cross‑chain swap protocol used when you initiate a swap inside the App. mayan.finance.
- CoinGecko — market price data. Privacy.
- Public block explorers and node providers (Bitcoin, TRON, etc.) — read‑only blockchain queries.
We do not sell or rent personal data to any third party.
5. Public Blockchains
Cryptocurrency transactions executed through the App are recorded on public, decentralised blockchains. Once broadcast, those transactions are permanent, immutable and publicly accessible. They include data such as wallet addresses, amounts, and timestamps. EuroBit cannot reverse, modify or delete on‑chain data.
6. Cookies and Analytics
The mobile App does not use cookies. We do not embed third‑party advertising or marketing analytics SDKs (no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Facebook SDK). Our only analytics signal is anonymous crash and stability reporting through Firebase, used solely to detect and fix bugs.
7. Data Retention
- Diagnostic and stability logs: up to 90 days, then automatically deleted.
- Backend authentication records (Firebase): for as long as the App is installed and the account exists. You can request deletion at any time.
- Support correspondence: up to 24 months after the last interaction, after which it is anonymised or deleted.
8. Your Privacy Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with similar legislation, you have the following rights regarding your personal data under the GDPR and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018:
- Right of access to your data.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to data portability.
- Right to object to or restrict processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
To exercise any of these rights, write to clientes@eurobit.es. We will respond within one month.
9. Minors
EuroBit is not directed to and may not be used by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
